As a founding partner with Roberts & Durkee, Mr. Durkee worked primarily on complicated civil matters for individual clients. These cases typically were in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, trucking accidents, first party insurance cases, Bad Faith cases, product liability cases, negligent security cases and class actions. One of the most important cases Mr. Durkee handled was known as “Chinese Drywall”. In this case, Mr. Durkee was the lead litigator who represented hundreds of individual who suffered severe damage as a result of a defective product in a Federal Multi District litigation that ended with an over 1 Billion dollar settlement. In 2017, Mr. Durkee left Roberts & Durkee to practice in Orlando with Gobel & Flakes, a boutique civil defense firm.
