Rachel Martin, Esq.

Rachel Martin is an associate attorney focused primarily on the BP Oil Spill Litigation at The Downs Law Group in Coconut Grove, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainability Science from Furman University and her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law with a certificate of concentration in Environmental Law.

During law school, Ms. Martin was a Student Editor of the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy and a Research Assistant investigating wetland banking credits. She clerked for various organizations focused on environmental issues within the public interest, governmental, and private sectors.

Ms. Martin began working for The Downs Law Group in Spring 2022 within the E-Discovery team for the firm’s mass toxic tort litigation. She earned certifications in Reveal and Brainspace platforms. In Winter 2022, she joined the litigation team as an associate attorney.
