Jeremy Block, Esq.

Jeremy Block is an associate attorney at The Downs Law Group, practicing in the areas of toxic torts, mass torts, and personal injury. He is part of the firm’s BP Oil Spill and PFAS (firefighter turnout gear and foam) teams.

Jeremy was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Jeremy obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a Minor in Biological Sciences, from Florida State University. While at FSU, he was a Research Assistant in a psychology laboratory focused on psychopathy. Jeremy graduated summa cum laude and was a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society.

Jeremy obtained his Juris Doctor from the Florida International University College of Law. While at FIU Law, he was a member of the Executive Board of the American Constitution Society and Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He also spent a summer studying abroad in Seville, Spain. While in law school, Jeremy gained experience at firms practicing in the areas of personal injury, intellectual property, and entertainment law.

Jeremy has spent most of his career as an attorney practicing in personal injury. He is energized and passionate about representing his injured clients against large corporations and insurance companies and fighting for his clients to receive just compensation for their ailments caused by another. He also has experience in commercial litigation and criminal defense.

When not advocating for his clients, Jeremy enjoys playing bass guitar, attending concerts, cheering on his FSU Seminoles, and attempting to win his fantasy football league with his law school colleagues.
