Judgement Upheld in Defamation Case in Favor of Client in $740,000,000 Commercial Litigation Case

The Fourth DCA today affirmed the ruling by per curiam affirmed (PCA)  of the trial court which entered a Final Judgment in favor of its client Mehmet Tatlici in the amount of $740,000,000 in the matter of Tatlici v. Tatlici, involving claims of defamation.  The Tatlici verdict obtained by the Downs Law Group was one of the largest jury verdicts in the United States in the year 2019.  The Defendant made several post-judgment challenges, all of which have now been denied by the appellate court which upheld the Final Judgment.
