Featured on Science.org Discussing the BP Oil Spill Lawsuit

The Downs Law Group was recently featured on Science.org after internal documents unsealed in the firm’s litigation against BP seem to reveal that the oil giant had access to reviewing and approving studies conducted by Australia’s leading research agency, CSIRO, prior to publication in scientific peer-reviewed journals. 

The internal documents were provided to our firm through a lawsuit related to the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. We are calling for greater transparency and independence from CSIRO and other scientific organizations when partnerships are involved between scientists and commercial companies.
