The Downs Law Group, Goes Green!

Dear Clients and Friends, 

In celebration of Earth Day this year, The Downs Law Group is proud to announce that we are officially ‘going green.’ As a law firm that specializes in handling environmental toxic tort cases, we have first-hand knowledge of how important it is to protect our precious and only planet. 

Our commitment to the environment is not new, but we are taking this opportunity to formalize this firm-wide effort and make conservation an integral part of our daily operations. I believe that every business has a responsibility to minimize its impact on the environment, no matter how challenging, and we are committed to doing our part. 

As part of our efforts to go green, we are implementing several initiatives. We will be drastically reducing paper usage internally and also encouraging clients and colleagues to communicate with us electronically. We are also making a conscious effort to reduce our energy consumption by turning off lights and electronics when not in use, and exploring recycling and renewable energy options for our Florida offices in Coconut Grove, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, and Pensacola. 

We believe that by taking these steps, we can reduce our carbon footprint and create a healthier, more sustainable environment for all. We hope that our actions will inspire other law firms to do the same, and that together we can make a positive impact on our planet.
