Kristian Tomil

Kristian Toimil leads The Downs Law Group’s eDiscovery Team. He is an experienced mass tort paralegal, having worked extensively in tobacco litigation since 2012. He is highly knowledgeable in pre-litigation, discovery and trial, having headed client campaigns across the country and served at over 20 tobacco trials, each trial often taking a month in length. He has developed strong relationships with world-class experts in both medicine and product design and has also served as key member of jury consulting teams.

Kristian joined the Downs Law Group to apply his mass tort experience in tobacco towards the firm’s diverse practice areas, including lawsuits stemming from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. With invaluable experience in document review, having spent countless hours reviewing the internal documents of Big Tobacco, Kristian works in the E-Discovery team, helping the firm to comprehend the actions of BP in response to the spill.

When Kristian isn’t hard at work in mass torts, he can be found serving his community as the Volunteer Community Engagement Manager with the nonprofit Hands On Miami, where he coordinates and leads service projects benefitting a wide range of needs, such as the environment, children, the homeless and our veterans.
